Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Fill the Desk ("Fill the Desk," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit fillthedesk.com or use our matching questionnaire. Fill the Desk is operated by [Legal entity name, e.g. Disruptive Digital LLC].
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you complete our questionnaire, we collect your answers (for example, the role you need, number of units or team size, property type, software, number of hires, timing and budget fit) and your contact details: first and last name, role, work email, company name and, if you choose to provide it, phone number.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page that referred you, and campaign details in the link you clicked (such as UTM parameters and ad click identifiers like fbclid, gclid or li_fat_id).
Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies, pixels and similar tools, including the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics, to measure site traffic, understand which ads lead to inquiries and improve our advertising. These tools may collect information about your activity on our site and across other sites over time. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and manage ad preferences in your Meta and Google account settings. We also store campaign details in your browser for the length of your visit so we can attribute your inquiry correctly. When you submit the questionnaire, we may also send Meta an encrypted (hashed) version of your email address, phone number and name, along with the event details, so Meta can measure and improve the ads that led to your inquiry. Meta cannot read the hashed values directly.
How we use information
- To review your answers and determine whether our staffing partner is a good fit for your needs.
- To connect you with our staffing partner and arrange introductions and interviews.
- To contact you about your inquiry by email or phone.
- To measure and improve our website, questionnaire and advertising.
- To prevent spam, fraud and misuse, and to comply with legal obligations.
How we share information
Our staffing partner. If your answers indicate that our staffing partner may be able to help, we share your questionnaire answers and contact details with that partner so they can contact you, match you with candidates and provide their services. The partner uses your information under its own privacy practices. If your answers indicate we cannot help, we do not share your information with our staffing partner.
Service providers. We share information with companies that help us run the site and our business, such as hosting, form processing, analytics, advertising measurement and email providers, who may use it only to provide services to us.
Legal and business reasons. We may disclose information to comply with law or legal process, protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some states consider the use of advertising pixels to be a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising; see "Your choices and rights" below.
Your choices and rights
You can opt out of emails at any time using the unsubscribe link, and ask us to stop calling you by telling the caller or emailing us. Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, request a copy, correct it, delete it, and opt out of targeted advertising or the "sale" or "sharing" of your information. To make a request, email info@fillthedesk.com. We will verify your request and respond as required by law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Where supported, we honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of targeted advertising.
How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, typically up to [24] months after your last interaction with us, unless a longer period is required by law.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Business use and children
Fill the Desk is intended for businesses and the people who work for them. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
